Emma & Fraser’s Elegant Wedding at Hyde House

Some weddings are made even more memorable by the people behind them, and working with Emma and Fraser was certainly no exception. This couple were warm, thoughtful and completely trusting in me (every wedding stationer’s dream!), giving me the creative freedom to design bespoke stationery that reflected them both.

From the start, Emma and Fraser had their hearts set on a soft, romantic style for their wedding day at Hyde house. The bridal bouquet was brimming with beautiful pink tones, which became the guiding palette for their wedding stationery – all of which seamlessly complemented the deep navy shade of the groom’s suit. This combination of blush and blue tones offered a timeless feel that worked in perfect harmony with their wedding venue.

The Wedding Tables

One of the key areas we focused on for Emma and Fraser’s wedding stationery was their tables – after all, it’s the part of the day that every guest spends a huge amount of time looking at. The couple had the fun idea of using scratch cards for their wedding favours, but rather than disrupting the flow of the tablescape, I create elegant bespoke pockets to hold each one. These not only kept the styling cohesive, but the pockets doubled up as name placements too. Function, beautiful and totally bespoke!

Thoughtful Touches

Throughout the rest of their wedding day, we added personality with thoughtful touches that elevated their guest experience, without feeling too OTT. Including fun flip-flop signs to soothe dancing feet, a charming sweetie table with custom signage and even personalised door hangers for the guests who stayed overnight at Hyde House. Every detail showcased the elegance of Emma and Fraser’s wedding style.

The Table Plan

One of my favourite pieces to design was their 6ft wooden table plan, paired with a matching order of the day box that was filled with blooms. These statement pieces were the perfect fit for Hyde House, finished with floral details that complemented the bridal bouquet and the other floral arrangements throughout their celebration. As a final touch, we created a beautiful guest board featuring a hand-drawn illustration of Hyde House, which Emma and Fraser’s friends and family were invited to sign. Not only was this a heartfelt part of their wedding décor, but it became a cherished keepsake too! The couple had planned to frame it and keep it as a memory of the day and the people who shared it with them.

Emma and Fraser’s elegant wedding at Hyde House was an absolute joy to be a part of.
