Planning a wedding can be stressful, but getting your stationery sorted doesn't have to be! From save the dates to thank you cards, here's your complete wedding stationery checklist to make sure you've got it all covered.
Will you be my…? In my option I would say first up is to get your wedding party sorted first. So the first pieces of wedding stationery to ticked off the list is your will you be my….? (maid of honour, bridesmaid, flower girl, best man, pageboy, usher ect..) cards. Doing this first means they will know in advanced their rolls, can start helping out and be more of a support for your wedding planning journey.
Save the Dates The first piece of stationery your guests will see is your save the date. This gives them a heads up on the big day so they can get it in their calendars. Go for something fun and personal to get everyone excited. This is the first impression they will get of your big day so make it a good one!
Wedding Invitations Your wedding invites are a chance to set the tone for your day. Choose a design that reflects your wedding vibe, whether that's classic and elegant or boho and quirky. Don't forget to include all the key details like date, time, dress code, and RSVP info. Invitations can be a great way to make your wedding even more personal by adding your venue illustration or maybe your fur baby as they can’t come to your day.
Order of Service An order of service is a handy little program that guides your guests through your ceremony. It's a nice keepsake for them too. You can get creative with the design or keep it simple and formal. These don’t have to be a wedding must have unless you are getting married in a church then I recommend them. But you can also bring these in, in a fun way for your wedding if getting married at your venue. By making them less traditional and more personal about yourselves by adding in a little love sotry about you both or telling everyone who you wedding party is.
Table Plan A table plan is super important when it comes to your wedding stationery it gives your guests direction as to where they are sat at your wedding breakfast and will let them know where about you are sat to. Having a table plan will make your day run smoother.

Nameplacements/ Place Cards Place cards make sure everyone knows where to sit at your wedding breakfast and gives people direction which in turn makes your day run smoother. And you can make these personal to each guest with a little note to them or maybe make these into favour by creating bookmarks if you’re a book worm!
Table Numbers or names Table numbers/names are essential for guiding your guests, plus they add a decorative element to your reception tables. Match them to your overall stationery theme or maybe make then personal with your favourite places to let your guest know more about you.
Menus Personalised menus let your guests know what's on the menu. They're a thoughtful addition to your tables. I recommend this more if your having a menu choice and letting your guest choose what they want to eat, as by the time they to the wedding they will have forgotten.
Welcome sign choosing to do a welcome sign for your wedding stationery will give your guest one direction as to where they need to go for your ceremony, but also gives them the first feel for the day and will set the tone.
