The Hyde House Suite: An Ode to Rustic Elegance

The Hyde House Suite remains one of my favourites from my Venue Collections. It was the first venue-specific collection I ever created as ‘Lauren Daisy’, and all these designs later, it still has my heart. I homed in on the venue and the way it makes you feel –whether you visit their Instagram page or step through the doors. I knew from the start that this suite needed to reflect the understated elegance the space has to offer; while still delivering the sense of excitement and anticipation you get from thoughtfully designed wedding stationery.I began by looking closely at Hyde House’s own branding and website and it confirmed everything I already knew. This is one wedding venue that doesn’t need much in terms of detail or décor –the setting truly speaks for itself. It’s warm, it’s rustic (without feeling twee) and sits so beautifully within its surroundings that anything too OTT would feel out of place. With that in mind, I leaned into the rustic elegance vibe, pairing a classic white and sage green palette with carefully hand-illustrated florals and a delicate sketch of the venue itself.

This suite certainly has a softness that perfectly echoes the Cotswold countryside. 

But its timelessness and simplicity doesn’t mean the Hyde House suit from my Venues Collection is plain –it’s anything but! It’s the finer details that elevate the design –the things that make your friends and family go ‘oooooh’ when it lands on their doorstep (which is something we all want them to do, right?). I’ve added a translucent vellum wrap, which has printed with the suite’s signature floral motif, indulgent envelope liners and wax seals in a rich honey hue –all designed to give the stationery a layered, luxurious feel. It’s not too extravagant, but it’s quietly beautiful –just like Hyde House itself. 

As with the rest of my suites from the Venues Collection, this design includes everything you might need for your wedding stationery. 

From Save the Dates and invitations to welcome notes and reserved seating tags, food & drinks menus to signage... and more! While the illustration of Hyde House is the heart of this suite, let this be your reminder that the design is still semi-customisable. This means you can add your own gorgeous touches with colour, wording and finishes. I’ve found that sticking fairly closely to the venue’s brand palette seems to be a winner amongst my couples –especially if they have chosen that particular location for a reason. 

I have to say, the white and sage green combo really does work hand in hand with Hyde House so I can see why my couples adore it!
